Promise SuperTrack modules for Linux 2.4.27

[textile] Most of the folks using the Promise SuperTrack 6000 controller have found out that the "RedHat":http://www.redhat.com 9 modules don't really work well with later kerners because the versions are mismatching. Not a real wonder, and it isn't a bad thing neither. However, recompiling them takes quite some effort, but with a bit of fiddling around and hitting the compiler a few times, one can get it to run on 2.4 kernels (the 2.6 series is still a research subject).

One-Liner to copy a CD

[textile] You can actually copy a CD with just one command> /usr/bin/cdrdao copy --driver generic-mmc --source-driver generic-mmc --device ATA:1,0,0 --speed 24 --eject --source-device ATA:1,1,0 --on-the-fly Works dandy and is much faster than the conventional graphical tools, given you get the right drives with 'cdrecord -scanbus'.
