And that's a problem all western jails have

If anybody asks himself why criminals are not dissuaded by jail sentences in the west, a honest inmate puts it into simple words:

Appearing in his cell wearing a baseball cap and in a Stoke City shirt, Rudge tells viewers: 'In here you've got everything. You've got a stereo, a TV. 'You've got your food, three meals a day. I've got it nice. I don't want it to change.'

With such a cushy life, the life outside does appear like sheer hell:

When asked what he thinks life is like outside, he says: 'Horrible, a nightmare to get a job. 'I wouldn't like to be out there at all now. I'd prefer to stay inside for a while, and wait until it calms down.'

There's a simple solution to such problems. Make life in jail uncomfortable. No stereo, no TV, no playstation. A bible would be allowed.

And make sure the food mainly consists of necessities, like water, bread, cheese and a daily vitamin tablet. On Sundays, they get a load of vegetables.

Then let's check out how much the crime rates drop, especially with foreign offenders which are well more than 50% of the inmate population in Switzerland. That's something our 'human rights' advocates never want to consider.
